We had a great Dalmatian Club of Southern New England Specialty on beautiful Cape Cod. CH Blackthorn's Violet of Patch MT TDX, OA, OAJ, CPC was  Veteran Bitch and earned an Award of Merit from breeder judge John Kramer on Friday, September 14th. There were the other 4 champion littermates there as well, GCH Blackthorn's Flower Power, "Daisy", GCH CT Blackthorn's Coreopis of Patch MT, "Corey", CH Dapper Dan's Dancer of Blackthorn RE, OAJ, AX, "Tango" and CH Blackthorn Lucas'Legend RA, "Ghost". What a thrill to see all 5 littermate champions in the ring. On Saturday Daisy was Best Veteran in Sweeps and Corey won the Veteran Dog Class and also got an Award of Merit. His lovely daughter GCH Patch MT Spring Thyme at Blackthorn TD, "Spring" was Select Bitch on Friday and got an Award of Merit on Saturday. Ghost won the Veteran Dog Class on Friday. A good show for the all of us.

Lucas Legend N Patch MT's Game Set Match BN, TD, RE, OA, NAJ CGC "Ace", (CH Firebursters Comic Relief X  CH Patch MT & Legend's Time for Me) finished his Championship Title at the Bainbridge shows in NY. He is just 22 months old and earned all his points by owner/handler Linda Kaufman. His wins included a major Specialty win.
                                   

We are so proud of Ace and Linda for all they have accomplished. What a wonderful working team they are!

Blackthorn & Patch MT's Thru The Looking Glass (AM/CAN CH Blackthorn's Violet of Patch MT TDX, OA, OAJ X CH Spotlight N Dakota Gryffin). Dinah  earned her Championship title from start to finish in just over 7 weeks. Dinah is owned and loved by Pam Devlin, novice owner/handler who put all her championship points on her. Congratulations to Dinah and Pam!

This handsome young dog is "Ace", Lucas Legend N Patch MT's Game-Set-Match BN, TD, RN. He is out of Ch Firebuster's Comic Relief and Ch PatchMT and Legends Time for Me. This fall he has earned his Beginner Novice Obedience title, his Tracking Dog title and his Rally Novice title. He is owned, trained and  loved by Linda Kaufman. We couldn't be more proud of Ace and Linda for all they have accomplished ! Ace is certainly making all of us at Patch Mountain Dalmatians very proud and he is living up to his pedigree.

Patch Mt's Amazing Surprise RN, RL1X, RL2,CD-H, ARCH, CDSSP CGC, "Joey",  (BISS Ch Aberdeen's Sawyer Brown x Ch Paisley Patch Mt's Amazing Grace RD, Am/Can CD, RN, NA, CGC, ROMX) owend and loved by Kathi Galotti earned his ADPT Rally level 3 title! Good boy Joey!

"Maeve" earns her VST title which makes her a Champion Tracker at the Dog Tracking Club of Maine's  Variable Surface Tracking Test at Colby College. Maeve is only the 7th Dalmatian ever to earn that coveted title. She is now CT CH Patch Mt's About Time CGC, CD, RE, NAJ, OA, VCD1, Can CH, CD

"Lucy" Patch Mt's Legend in Time TD earned her Tracking Dog Excellent title on May 8th at the Dog Tracking Club of Maine's tracking test. Lucy was the only dog that day of the 6 entered to earn that title. A real accomplishment for my wonderful girl and on Mother's Day!

We had a wonderful and successful time at the Dalmatian Club of America's National Specialty in Kentucky. Am/Can CH Blackthorn's Violet of Patch MT Am/Can TD, NA, OAJ was awarded the Dalmatian Club of America's Conformation Performance Certificate at their Annual Membership Meeting. This award demonstrates breed versatility by earning titles in conformation, agility and tracking. My "Lucy", Patch Mt's Legend in Time qualified in all three obedience classes in which she was entered. The pre-novice B class where she earned a 3rd place and lovely trophy, the Novice Rally B class and the Beginner Novice class. Nanci Hayes and her Dalmatians "Blizzard" and "Dancer" also enjoyed many successes at DCA.                                                                     

Yankee's Sebago Summer Breeze CDX, RAE and owner Nanci Hayes earned a second placement at the Dalmatian Club of America's National Specialty in obedience class Open B.

Here are CH Yankee's Sebago Nor'easter CDX, RAE, CGC, "Blizzard" and sister Yankee's Sebago Summer Breeze CDX, RAE, CGC, "Dancer" who earned a first place in the brace comeptition at the Dalmatian Club of America's National Specialty. Dancer and Nanci also earned their Coaching Dog certificate at the Dalmatian National Specialty.

CH Yankee's Sebago Nor'easter CDX, RAE, CGC earned a 3rd place ment at the National Specialty in Open B.

New Champion Patch Mt's Spring Thyme At Blackthorn TD "Spring" and Sara had a wonderful time at the Dalmatian Club of Southern New England Specialty. Spring was Best Senior in Sweeps one day and Best in Sweeps the next. She was Winner's Bitch and Best of Winners at the Specialty both days and finished her Championship title with 3 majors. Congratulations Sara and Spring

Champion Yankee Sebago Nor'easter CD, RAE, TT earned his Companion Dog Excellent Title at the Dalmatian Club of New England supported entry Specialty. Blizzard qualifed both on Saturday to earn his title and on Sunday for a bumper leg. Blizzard is owned and loved by Nancy Hayes. Good Dog Blizzard

At the Yankee Golden Retriever Club Tracking test held on September 12, in Durham, New Hampshire Can Ch Patch Mt Spring Thyme at Blackthorn TD, "Spring" (CT Ch Blackthorn's Coreopis of Patch Mt Am/Can TDX, NA, NAJ x Am/Can Ch Patch Mt's AboutTime VCD1, TDX, OA) earned her Tracking Dog Titleon her first attempt. Spring was bred by Linda McSherry and Sara Pruyne. She is owned and was runby Sara Pruyne. Pictured here with her well earned Tracking Dog title rosette!

Grand Champion Blackthorns Flower Power is the number one Dalmatian in the United States ! We couldn't be more proud of Daisy and her handler Jeff Langevin. Daisy was bred by Linda McSherry Sara Pruyne and Sue MacMillan. She is owned by Bertha Little and Joan Eversole. Am/Can Ch Patch Mt's About Time Am/Can CD TDX RE OA NAJ VCD1 CGC CPC At the Thetford Mines shows in Canada Maeve earned her Canadian Companion Dog Title in just 3 shows. She earned the title with two 1st placements and one 2nd place score. Maeve also finished her Canadian Championship title the same day by going Winners Bitch and Best of Breed over a special. At the same shows Maeve's daughter Patch Mt's Spring Thyme at Blackthorn earned her Canadian Championship as well. We couldn't be more proud of Maeve and her daughter Spring's accomplishments!

"Maeve", Ch Patch Mt's About Time TD, RE, OA, NAJ, VCD1, CPC earned her Tracking Dog Excellent Title under AKC judges Ray Desmaris and Stephanie Crawford on Sunday, April 25. She ran the           865 yard track in 13 minutes. Her track had 6 turns and she had to indicate 4 articles, a slipper, sock, an eyeglass case and finally a glove.   Her track went through a ditch with boulders and brambles, four hedgerows and crossed a road.                Good girl Maeve!

On the same day the Vermont Tracking Club also held a Tracking Dog test and "Lucy", Patch Mt's Legend in Time (Maeve's daughter) earned her Tracking Dog Title by running her 455 yard track in just 5 minutes. Judges for the TD test were Doris Vigures and Ilene Morgan. Lucy had to run her test last because she came into season two days before the test! Lucy had to indicate the start article which was a sock and indicate the end article which was a leather glove.                                Way to go Lucy!

Patch Mt & Blackthorn's Atlantic Time , "Amber" (Am/Can Ch Blackthorn Coreopis of Patch Mt Am/Can TDX, RE, NA, NAJ x Ch Patch Mt's About Time CD, RE, TD, NA, OA, VCD1) earned  her first and  second Canadian championship points on Saturday, February 14, and Sunday February 15th at the Halifax Nova Scotia Kennel Club Shows. She was Winner's bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite both days and earned a Puppy Group 1st on Sunday.  Amber is owned by Linda McSherry and Janice Dorey.

Patch Mt Spring Thyme at Blackthorn, "Spring" (Am/Can Ch Blackthorn Coreopis of Patch Mt Am/CanTDX, RE,NA, NAJ x Ch Patch Mt's About Time CD, RE, TD, NA, OA, VCD1) earned her first championship point on Friday, January 14th under judge Anthony DiNardo from the Bred By Class. She was expertly handled by owner Sara Pruyne. This was her very first show and you can see how lovely she is.

We are proud to announce that we have a new Champion! At the Greater Lowell Kennel Club show on Saturday January 15th Patch Mt  & Legend's Time for Me  (Ch Blackthorn Lucas' Legend RA x Ch Patch Mt's About Time CD, TD, RE, , NAJ, OA VCD1) owned byLinda McSherry,Dawn Eliot-Johnson & Rachel Wilday earned a 3 point major to finish her Championship title. She was handled by Dawn for all her points. The next day her first time as a special she went Best of Opposite Sex at the Merrimack Valley Kennel Club show.

 We were thrilled with Lucy's 2nd place in the Sweeps Class with a big entry of 21 in the 6 to 8 Month Class under judge Laura Lightholder.

She also made it to the final cut in her Futurity Class.  She followed the Specialty weekend by earning her first point at the York County Kennel Club show on May 3rd from the Bred-by Class.

Dawn did a wonderful job presenting Jenna at the National Specialty and they earned a 3rd place in the Sweeps Class.  

                                        We were very pleased that Jenna also made the cuts in the Regular Puppy Class.

We are thrilled that Maeve's mother Ch Paisley Patch Mt's Amazing Grace Am/Can CD, RN, NA, RD was tied for the  Spotter Top Spots Dam for 2006!  The breeding to BISS Ch Aberdeen's Sawyer Brown  produced six champions from her litter of nine puppies.
